w moich zaciśniętych dłoniach złoto zachodzi czernią
i krew pochłania błękit
i nisko do ziemi
— jak ciało moje do twego —
przywiera moje niebo

in my clenched fists the gold sets into the black
and blood absorbs the azure
and low to the ground
— as my body does to yours —
my sky clings fast
